Tuning is commonly known as ‘remapping’ in the Smart world.  It can be great for the small cars and done without mechanical modifications but I advise that it puts more stress on the little engines.  If they are driven at full speed at all times and not serviced when due problems can occur.  The difference in performance you will notice is the cars will be less hesitant at traffic lights and roundabouts, 6th gear will continue accelerate even from low revs and removal of the speed limiter.

Smart 599cc Fortwo is £175 and will take your car to approx 75bhp
Smart 698cc Fortwo is £175 and will take your car to approx 80bhp
Smart 698cc Roadster is £225 and will take your car to approx 100bhp
